1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Payment Data. Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

The information we collect includes:

  • Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called 'crash dumps'), and hardware settings).

2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.
  • To send administrative information to you. We may process your information to send you details about our products and services, changes to our terms and policies, and other similar information.
  • To fulfil and manage your orders. We may process your information to fulfil and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Services. This includes sending you order confirmations and updates about your order by email. The email address you enter at checkout is used to send your order receipt and is shared with our supplier and courier to deliver your order; on its own it does not give access to your order history — your order appears in your account history only when you sign in or create an account.
  • To create and manage your account, and to sign you in. If you choose to create a customer account, we process your email address to send you a secure one-time sign-in code (we do not use passwords) and to store your saved delivery addresses, order history, and saved items so they are available when you return.
  • To send you the alerts and reminders you have asked for. If you ask us to notify you when an out-of-stock product is available again, we email you once when it is back in stock. If you ask us to watch a product's price, we email you once if its price drops below the price you saw. If you begin a checkout but do not complete it, we may send you a reminder so you can finish your order. You can opt out of these at any time — see 'WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?' below.
  • To request feedback. We may process your information when necessary to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Services.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications. We may process the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, such as our newsletter, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences.   • To protect our Services. We may process your information as part of our efforts to keep our Services safe and secure, including fraud monitoring and prevention.

3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers. We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ('third parties') who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct.

The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are as follows:

  • Payment Processors
  • Order fulfilment suppliers (the wholesaler that prepares and dispatches your order, to whom we pass your delivery name, address, phone number, and email so your order can be fulfilled)
  • Delivery and shipping couriers
  • Address and contact validation provider (used at checkout to check your delivery address, phone number, and email are valid and reachable — see below)
  • Email delivery provider (used to send order confirmations, account sign-in links, and any alerts or reminders you have asked for — see below)
  • Error monitoring and diagnostics providers (technical fault reports only — see below)

We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:

  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Address and contact validation

At checkout we use Ideal Postcodes, a service operated by IDDQD Limited, to help you enter a correct UK delivery address and to check that the phone number and email you provide are valid and reachable. We use this because your phone number and email are passed to the delivery courier for delivery notifications, slot updates, and failed-delivery contact, so a mistyped or unreachable detail can cause a missed delivery. When you search for your address, or when you continue to payment, the relevant detail (a partial postcode/address, the phone number, or the email) is sent to Ideal Postcodes to validate it; the result is advisory only — we show you a warning if a detail looks wrong, but you can still place your order. Email delivery

We use Resend, an email delivery service operated by Resend, Inc., to send the emails our Services produce — for example order confirmations and updates, the one-time link that signs you in to your account, the newsletter if you have subscribed, an alert when an out-of-stock product you asked about is available again, and a reminder if you leave a checkout unfinished. To deliver these, we pass Resend the recipient's email address and the content of the message (which may include your name and order details). Resend processes this only to send our email on our behalf; it does not use it for its own purposes or to advertise to you. This data may be processed on servers outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. You can read Resend's privacy practices at https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Error monitoring and diagnostics

To keep the Services reliable and to detect and fix faults (including problems during checkout and order processing, and errors that occur in your web browser), we use Sentry, an error-monitoring service operated by Functional Software, Inc. When an error occurs, limited technical diagnostic data is sent to Sentry — for example the error details, the page or operation that failed, basic browser and device type, the store's website address, a product reference, and an internal order reference. We do not send your name, address, email address, payment details, or your IP address to Sentry. This data is used only to diagnose and fix technical faults, and is not used to track you or to advertise. Sentry stores this data within the European Union, and may process it on servers operated by its group outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. 5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

In Short: We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

If this store has cookie-based analytics (Google Analytics) enabled, we permit that provider to use online tracking technologies on our Services only with your consent, to help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. 6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 2 years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications (including back-in-stock alerts, price-drop alerts and basket reminders) at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any such email, by using the one-click unsubscribe option your email app may show, or — if you have a customer account — from the Email preferences section of your account. 10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
